LODGE TOUR OF ST. SAVIOURGATE MASONIC HALL

The Lodge Room …

The Lodge Room is used mainly for conducting the formal business of the lodge, but is also used for holding lectures/talks/charity presentations etc. It is a large room which is richly decorated with many Masonic and other signs/symbols on its walls and ceilings.

The pictures are a selection of many friezes and signs which adorn its walls and ceilings. W. Bro. Thomas Bowman Whytehead was the designer of this amazing room and has his name depicted on one of the walls. The room is one of the finest Masonic rooms to be found in our Province and those that visit us are in awe of its splendid decorations and fine furniture. Unfortunately Thomas the designer did not live to see the completion of this beautiful Room but his legacy lives on and delights all that see his wonderful designs.
